SAP Manager for a 2 year-Project, Czech Republic

OUR CLIENT, an important multinational manufacturing company is looking for a senior SAP expert for a long term project in Czech Republic (Prague, Opava):

SAP MANAGER (M/F)

TASKS

- responsible for organizing and leading a cross functional team in developing and implementing project deliverables, with an emphasis on quality, productivity, and consistency
- responsible for providing technical direction and control of project personnel and for providing a framework for project planning, communications, reporting, procedural and contractual activity
- developing work plans, managing deadlines and coordination of project team and sub-team activities
- cooperate with global and regional teams
- maintain control over the project's status and local budget
- report project status and issues where help is needed to the Steering Committee
- drive the definition and implementation of Release Management
- annual Core deployment along the technical Releases starting from timelines and resources planning and finishing with deployment
- prepares and aligns system activity plans between projects and operations
- conduct integration alignment sessions between ERP/SAP and other business projects

REQUIREMENTS

- proven experience with large SAP implementations - references of completed implementations must be provided
- several years of experience as a senior project manager for complex projects
- working knowledge of current SAP Project Management methodologies
- project leadership experience on SAP implementation with Financials, Plant Maintenance and/or Materials Management through the entire project life cycle (Preparation, Design/Blueprint, Build/Realization, Final Prep/Testing/Cutover, Go-live and Support, Sustainment) ideally within the pharmaceutical industry
- demonstrated client management and relationship management skills
- ability to work closely with Process Owners and other key stakeholders to communicate progress
- demonstrated process and industry knowledge
- deep understanding of SAP software and project implementation methodology
- demonstrated oral and written communication skills
- experience managing team of 20+ staff preferred
- project Management degree (PMI certification) highly desirable
- fluent Czech and English
