SAP IS Automotive (DBM/VMS) Consultant - English Speaking - Dubai, UAE

SAP IS AUTOMOTIVE (DBM/VMS) CONSULTANT - ENGLISH SPEAKING - DUBAI, UNITED ARAB EMIRATES.

My client in Dubai, United Arab Emirates is looking for an SAP IS-Automotive Consultant with experience in SAP IS-A DBM (Dealer Business Management) and SAP IS-A VMS (Vehicle Management System).

The Consultant will provide guidance around all areas/stages of the solution design and implementation. Liaise with the customer to ensure that the solution is in line with their business drivers. Lead and coordinate the functional teams to ensure integration across the various processes of sales, service management, parts etc. Knowledge transfer with the customer functional consultants to prepare them for supporting the new solution.

Core Skills
* Thorough knowledge and experience in the automotive wholesale & retail industry on process design and system solutions
* More than 10 years SAP experience, at least 5-7 as a team/functional lead/architect
* At least 2 full life cycle DBM/VMS projects within the Auto- Dealer industry
* Hands on Configuration knowledge of the sales, purchasing, vehicle master and service processes within the Auto Dealer business
* Thorough understanding and working knowledge of the integration between VMS and DBM
* Thorough understanding and working knowledge of the integration between VMS/DBM and ECC 6.0 IS Auto
* Integration knowledge of using DBM and MRS for scheduling of workshop activities
* Excellent working knowledge of the ASAP methodology
* Excellent knowledge of the transition between DBM 6.0 and DBM 7.0
* Integration knowledge between DBM/VMS and BI
* Experience in leading large scale teams
* Understanding of the used car sales process

Additional Skills
* Project a confident and capable presence and knowledge about the Automotive industry and draw on experience as relevant to the client.
* Require very strong negotiation and conversational skills and able to liaise with all levels of the customer up to and including CIO.
* Experience working on projects with multiple partners involved (and offshore models)
* Integration knowledge of CRM and DBM in particular using CRM for the sales Front End
* Knowledge of Solution Manager and PI
* Basic understanding of the ABAP workbench and DBM technical architecture
