Location: Remote within EU with travels to Switzerland as and when needed

Start date: ASAP/Duration: 3 months, extensions very likely

Candidates must already be able to work in Switzerland without need for work permits, etc.

Role

Our client is seeking an experienced SAP IoT Cloud Architect to work on a project in Switzerland.

Responsibilities:

- To work for our client, a consulting company, as architect on their customer project
- Understand customer's existing ERP and S/4HANA landscape from business and technical point of view
- Go through a discovery phase to determine current architecture
- Through dialogue, understand customer's goals re IoT, Cloud and SAP
- Work with stakeholders to formulate a road map that delivers their goals
- Articulate problem statements and propose solutions
- Help to build a team that will deliver and implement solution(s)

REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

- Proficient understanding of SAP solutions and of the consulting business processes and functions.
- Strong consulting experience in SAP Business Suite family
- Expertise in at least one (Digital) Business Transformation topic: BPM, Enterprise Architecture, Organizational Change Management, Value Management, Innovation Management, Strategic Roadmaps, Cloud Transformation, TCO, Digital Transformation, Internet of Things (IoT)
- Advanced knowledge of: SAP Product Portfolio (on premise and cloud solutions, S/4HANA)
- Experience with SAP Next Generation solutions and services (S/4HANA, Fiori (Mobility, UX), Cloud
- Knowledge of SAP Industry Solutions
- Knowledge of SAP Product Roadmap
- Adaptability and flexibility to manage deadline pressure, ambiguity and change
- Ability to negotiate consensus amongst diverse groups
- Conceptual analytical thinking and decision making skills
- Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work well with people from different disciplines with varying degrees of technical experience and competence
- Ability to communicate clearly, concisely and tactfully with senior management, clients, peers and team members
- Cultural awareness and experience working across different cultures and nationalities
- Able and willing to coach/mentor less-experienced colleagues
- Strong leadership and people management skills are desirable
