SAP FICO Consultant

Currently one of top clients is urgently seeking a SAP FICO Consultant to join their team on a long term contract position based in Nijmegen, Netherlands.

THE SUCCESSFUL SAP FICO CONSULTANT SHOULD HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
. 10+ years of relevant IT experience in applications management.
. Extensive knowledge on the specific way business processes are designed and executed in the Semiconductor Industry in the Finance, Controlling and Consolidation area.
. Thorough understanding of SAP application governance, SAP developments and integration with other software.
. Thorough understanding of Finance, Controlling and Consolidation processes and systems, esp. SAP FI-CO
. Extensive knowledge and/or implementation experience with complex product costing solutions (COPC) is a plus. Knowledge of other SAP modules (eg FI, CO, MM, SD) and the flexibility of supporting other team members in those areas is a plus.
. Ability to collaborate and partner with business and IT in defining, preparing and executing projects and changs

The successful candidate should also have some Business Process Expert (BPE) experience

The BPE will be responsible to translate new and changing business requirements into future IT solutions, leveraging existing applications and standard packaged solutions where possible.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
. Organize and execute all required activities to deliver high quality specifications and designs that meet the business process requirements and that enable Eexternal Service Providers (ESP) to design and implement the required IT solutions, within boundary conditions like budget, timing and architecture.
. Create, challenge and validate business cases for the requirements of the business.
. Validate designs and IT solutions as they are created by ESP's.
. Organize proper user acceptance testing, roll-out activities and hand-over to operations.
Relationships with:
. Business representatives: to identify requirements and to discuss pros and cons of various solutions and to organize user acceptance.
. Architect: to align solution designs with enterprise and solution architecture principles.
. Project/Program Manager: to define the scope, timing and resource requirements of activities.
. External Service Providers: to bring process expertise and to validate the ESP teams that implement and deliver system solutions.
. Operations: to hand-over new or changed solutions and to provide 3rd level support for applications in operation.
. Other BPE's: to identify ways to leverage on existing solutions.
