SAP eCommerce Consultant

- Designs and develops eCommerce applications by setting expectations and features priorities throughout development life cycle; applying design methodologies and tool sets; completing programming; designing and conducting tests
- Recommends system solutions by comparing advantages and disadvantages of the SAP application and custom development
- Completes application development by coordinating requirements, schedules, and activities; contributing to team meetings; troubleshooting development problems across multiple eCommerce applications (mainly in the area of eShop, eService and eCatalogue)
- Taking part in implementation activities in close collaboration with the Process Champions. Activities will be related to configuration and developing approved enhancements
- Providing 3rd level support in the context of service delivery
- Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
- Works under direction of the eCommerce Solution Architect to ensure enhancements do not adversely impact the template and remains aligned to the SAP standard offering

FOR THIS CHALLENGING POSITION IN A GLOBAL AND DYNAMIC ENVIRONMENT WE ARE LOOKING FOR AN EXPERT IN THIS FIELD WHO HAS:

- More than 3 years of experience within SAP eCommerce platform
- Excellent and broad knowledge of processes and functionalities covered by the SAP eCommerce platform
- Knowledge of eCommerce-related customizing in SAP CRM and/or ECC, eg shop management, catalog management, user management etc
- Good experience within applied technologies of the SAP eCommerce platform (Java, JSPs, web-technologies, XML, XCM, TREX)
- Experience working with Netweaver Development Infrastructure (NWDI) and J2EE platform
- Experience with complex implementation projects
- SAP Portal Implementation Experience preferred

CRITICAL COMPETENCIES/MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

- At least 3 years' direct hands on experience in designing and implementing multiple SAP eCommerce projects, at least two full implementation cycles
- working in complex implementation projects
- Outstanding organizational skills for project administration and time estimation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- You are a proactive and communicative team player with a critical, yet result-oriented and positive attitude
- Willingness to travel (30%)
