SAP Development Lead

Projektbeschreibung
SAP Development Lead - Krakow - 12 Months
Purpose
* Provision of high quality and reliable developments to company global HR System in timely and cost effective manner
Main Accountability's
* To lead a team of internal and external programmers and assure their delivery
* Activities planning, assignment and execution control
* Capacity management, balancing between operational (support) and project demand, proactive escalation to Technical Group Manager if involvement of external programmers is required
* Coordinate and control internal and external programmers, validate efforts estimation and actual time sheets, execute quality assurance
* Define development standards and keep them updated
* Participate in Change Request assessment
* Execute feasibility assessment and quality control of Project Technical specifications
* Participate in "Transition to Operations" process and Knowledge Transfer from project to support team
* Assure technical documentation exists and up to date
* Operate in line with company global HR System procedures
* Identify areas for improvement in the current solution and propose it to respective Functional Lead, Solution or System Architects
* Cooperate with other members of company global HR System Organization to deliver integrated solutions and share knowledge and experience
* Escalate issues proactively
* Participate in Performance and Development Appraisal of team members, advise on results assessment, targets setting and development plan.
* Perform personal development according to approved development plan
Challenges
* Coordination between internal and external programmers (more than 1 consulting company might be involved into a project)
* Balance between project activities and operational support
* Assure stability and compatibility of new internal and external developments
* Manage high pressure situations in peak times
* Flexibility in working hours in peak times
* Keeping schedules and due dates
Knowledge Skills and Experience
* Minimum 5 years' experience in programming in ABAP and/or Web Dynpro
* Experience in SAP Workflow and ABAP Classes
* Experience/knowledge in Java programming is a plus (Enterprise portal)
*Knowledge of SAP HCM and eRec functionalities as well as integration
*Knowledge of ITIL
*Focus on delivery and cooperation
*Ability to work under pressure and manage priorities
*Leadership
*Good communications skills
* Intercultural Sensitivity
* Fluent English
