SAP Development Lead

My client is urgently looking for a SAP Development Lead to join their team on an initial 8 month contract basis. Reporting to the Project Director the successful candidate will be responsible for the management and development of project resources.

PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF POSITION:

- To act as a Development Lead for the SAP project and to provide services including:
- Management and co-ordination of project development resources
- Provision of technical leadership in the SAP Development area
- Identifies and communicates key responsibilities and practices to ensure the ERP/Property development team promotes a successful attitude, confidence in leadership, and teamwork to achieve results.
- Provides coaching, direction and leadership support to project development resource in order to achieve results.
- Oversees and coordinates the work of the development team. Ensures that development of ERP/Property applications systems adheres to my clients approved architectural standards and other application development standards.
- Collaborates with project leads to manage the progress of 'release' development in process. Monitors performance of assigned release development to ensure they are completed on time and within budget.
- Guides the team in the analysis of WRICEF's to ensure low-cost operation and effective utilization of staff and equipment.
- Provides technical support to users on matters related to the programming of SAP modules
- Prepares comprehensive and thorough technical program documentation including specifications, test conditions, test plans, test data, etc

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

- 5+ years of experience in all aspects of SAP development life cycle
- 5+ years of leadership experience in a SAP development environment
- 3+ years of experience in leading/managing the delivery of large, highly integrated technical solutions or software releases
- SAP certification with over 7 years experience using SAP ABAP Programming Tools including Report and Transaction creation, Enhancements, Conversion Programs, SAPscript, and Smart Forms
- Web Dynpro
- Working within NW 7.02
- Application of OSS notes
- SAP Modules such as ERP 6.0 components
- SAP Modules such as ERP 6.0 (PM/PS/cProject/xRPM)
- SAP modules such as SRM, ERP 6.0 components (MM/IM/PM)
- SAP modules such as ERP 6.0 (FI/CO)
- SAP Modules CRM 7.0 implementation experience
- CRM UI Development, Component Workbench
- Middleware and Bdoc enhancement
- General CRM ABAP
