SAP Data Migration Consultant

Location: Athens, Greece.

Duration: 6 months minimum contract plus extension

I have an excellent opportunity for a SAP Migration Consultant to join a large international client in Athens, Greece on a minimum 6 month contract + extensions. The SAP Migration Consultant will be responsible for managing multiple data loads from different Legacy source systems into SAP ECC 6.0 environment. Gathering requirements around various complex data migration objects and design the data transformation. Develop functional specification documents for these data migration objects, Coordinate between the end users and the developers during the Data Load cycles, Perform thorough Functional Unit testing (FUT), Integration testing, support User Acceptance testing (UAT) of the objects and Document and test using tools SAP Solution Manager, HPSC, etc.

The SAP Migration Consultant must have;

o 3-7 years of professional experience in SAP Implementation, with at least 3 implementations as Migration Consultant
o Very good Knowledge of LSMW tool 
o Strong function and configuration knowledge in SAP Financials and BI/BO modules. 
o Strong client interfacing skills
o Should have executed large information transformation engagements (eg ERP data migration from various Legacy systems into SAP ECC)
o Strategy, architecture, design and implement data migration solutions using market leading ETL tools such as BODS, will be appreciated
o multi-country/global ERP data migration rollouts will be highly appreciated
o Excellent communication skills and customer facing skills
o Data loads into SAP using LSMW is a must, ability to understand ABAP coding in LSMW is a plus.
o Working knowledge of IDOC functionality is a must
o Understanding of SAP ERP functional modules such as SAP FICO, MM, SD, etc. is a must. Exposure to SAP IS-Retail, SAP SRM, is a plus
o Experience working on master data quality/cleansing solutions is a plus (eg customer, material data cleansing)
o International implementation experience, in multi-country/multi-language roll-outs, based on global template is a plus
o Strong interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written) including the ability to communicate with all levels in the organization
o Strong didactical skills and creativity
o Strong analytical skills
o Experience with the functional and cross-functional integration capabilities.
o Ability to successfully work in a Matrix environment and in a global organization
o Resistance to stress and capacity to work in a fast-paced environment and meet aggressive deadlines
o Team spirit and cross cultural awareness
o Experience in SAP ECC, Specific SAP module knowledge and expertise is a plus (like IS-Retail, Financials, Material Management, Inventory Management, BW, ...)
o Excellent verbal and written English communication skills, preferably bilingual English/Greek
