SAP Data Migration Analyst

My client is looking for an experienced SAP Data Migration Analyst.

The ideal consultant will have:

*Previous Data Migration team member experience through at least the Data Load test cycles and a go-live of at least one project
*Ability to build a basic LSMW and run this, including recording evidence of it's operation
*Ability to read/debug Abap
*Experience with HP QC (or defect tool)
*Experience with a document repository (APSE, Domino, sharepoint etc.)
*Experience of one of the functional areas where we need resources (ie from MM, FI, PM)
*Experience with some transformation tools (ie SQL, Access, BODS (and it's RDS) etc.)
*Attention to detail and accurate operation of tasks to load scripts/steps

The main responsibilities will include:

*Understand data objects (Master and transactional items) in functional area, able to use online SAP transaction to create or amend data
*Able to express functional use of fields in the data entity
*Able to set up example data and walk through online the load via putting in example data into each screen so the master or transactional data can be saved as an example
*Able to participate in mapping from Legacy to target and help build up mapping rules (data object mapping documents) in excel and drive final clarifications/issues so all required fields are agreed with the business, data SME in mapping to FAST SAP targets, liaising with wider Functional Consultants only as necessary for complex issue resolution and/or for final reviews, confirmation of final designs, field use, config values etc.
*To confirm the SAP data requirements eg mandatory/optional fields, data formats required;
*Understanding a specific functional area of SAP as a primary responsibility in regard to master and transactional data loaded and the load components (DCWs, DOMDs, Data Extracts & Loads). Also cover one other functional area as secondary items (to cover for someone leave or help in peak loads). Ideally covering a third as awareness in case of un-expected unavailability or primary/secondary resource), areas are
