SAP Data Architect

SAP DATA Architect - 6 month rolling contract - 3 years program - paying market rates - Start date will be within the month of September (2 - 6 weeks).

The SAP Data Architect is a senior SAP Roadmap Programme delivery role with overall responsibility for the delivery of the master data requirements of the SAP solution. The role will ensure a consistent design and build across the data aspects of the programme to ensure the Reach objective of improving our ability to understand and manage risk globally is achieved. It will also ensure maintenance of the template design during the phased deployment of the SAP Roadmap solution.

Main responsibilities:
- Lead the design activity for master data objects and hierarchies based on the future state process and solution requirements. Data objects include chart of accounts, suppliers, products and customers.
- Lead the process definition for master data management (MDM) activity for the data objects in scope. The process design may result in proposals for the implementation of supporting data management solutions. The Data Architect would be responsible for completing the requirements definition and implementation of the new process and/or application solutions.
- Work with the SAP Solution Architect and SAP application consultants to assess the solution requirements and how they can be delivered using standard SAP data objects. Determine any gaps between requirements and SAP functionalities and define workable solutions to bridge those gaps.

Skiils required:

•Multiple (8) years of consulting experience across varied customers and industries, including global SAP rollout and/or consolidation programmes.
•Functional experience in the design of SAP master objects including Chart of Accounts, Suppliers (Vendors), Products (Materials), Customers and associated data hierarchies.
•Functional experience in the underlying business processes that utilize these data objects - RTR, PTP, FTS and OTC.
•Previous experience in designing master data management processes. Related experience in defining proposals and recommendations for MDM application solutions.
•Proven experience in SAP implementation based on similar programmes - i.e. template design and build programmes with multiple deployment waves.
•Proven experience in SAP processes and methodologies including testing, cutover, training delivery and post go-live support.
