SAP CLM Lead/CLM Technical Consultant

THE ROLE NEEDS:

-

Technical Subject Matter Expert for the tool - SAP CLM
-

Analysing the technicalities available in SAP - CLM and suggesting the best possible technical solution to handle complex business requirements
-

Conceptualising and experimenting with alternative technical solutions/approaches
-

Creating the detailed technical documentation required for the smooth upkeep of the existing live environment
-

Reviewing existing technical documents standards and suggesting improvements to enhance the documentation for recoding the changes in a better way.
-

Hands on involvement in the Change Requests coding/documenting the changes
-

Come up with an estimation model for estimating effort required for change requests

The consultant's deliverables will include:

-

Analyze business and user needs, documents requirements &translates into system requirements, prototypes solutions.
-

Monitoring and reviewing the technical solutions provided in existing system and as an ongoing task for the changes being implemented
-

Giving direction for various departments in the organization on how they can utilize IT to meet their business goals.
-

Recommending any future computer system technologies (Contracting applications) that will help in the improvement of business in the organization
-

Working in connection with other IT experts in the organization.
-

Conduct Purchasing Architecture committee with Central and regional committees.
-

Collaborating with ArcelorMittal key users and other stakeholders to deliver the best possible technical solution.
-

This includes ensuring integration with the other functionalities in applications while understanding the links between various systems on the landscape.
-

Specify reporting needs and translate them into technical solution/architecture.
-

Responsible for availability of tool, by continuously monitoring projects and maintenance KPIs and following up on action plans where necessary.
-

Coordinate with diverse teams within and outside ArcelorMittal in order to get the best possible technical solution and architecture in place.
-

Delivery of any projects assigned within the domain
-

Ad-hoc reporting on the tool and related projects to management

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

-

Solid multi-year experience with architecture design with solution for procurement, contracting and other source to contract areas.
-

Hands-on implementation experience of supply chain/Logistics process acting as IT-Business architect.
-

Knowledge of/Experience with other relevant business processes.
-

Experience of Software development Project Management
-

Experience of having worked in multi-functional, multi-cultural and worldwide distributed teams
-

Experience in Steel or process industry an advantage
-

Experience in Java/Java beanshell,Progress technologies as Architect or developer will be an added advantage
-

Familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite essential (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

EDUCATION: Degree in relevant disciplines like engineering

Ability to learn and to translate business knowledge into detail specification.

Eager, enthusiastic, energetic and motivated

Good command of English (written and spoken) with ability to write technical documents in English. Other European languages a plus.

MUST HAVE

SAP CLM technical knowledge and process mapping understanding,

SAP ECC technical knowledge and process mapping understanding,

Used to work on time bound deliverables as well as handling unexpected downtime for a live system,

Problem solving and error analysis skills in SAP CLM for fixing issues reported in a live environment.

Business knowledge on purchasing, procurement processes
-

Language: Fluent in English (speaking & writing)
