SAP BW/BO Developer

One of our well known clients is looking for a SAP BW/BO Developer for an initial 3 month contract opportunity based in Melbourne!  

In this role you will be responsible for the review and support of design and build of BW BEx Queries for SAP Business Objects consumption. Review and support of universes on relational and OLAP data source using Universe Design Tool and Information Design Tool. Review and support the development of reports and dashboards using Web Intelligence, and Xcelsius and Analysis for Office and Analysis for OLAP. As well as supporting performance optimization activities by ensuring the design fully leverages the best practice integration with SAP BW.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

5 years+ BO development experience in a large scale clustered BO environment with connectivity with SAP BW and also ideally with Microsoft SQL Server/Analysis Services.
Expertise in BO 4.0 Content Development - Universes, Webi, Dashboard
Expertise in BW Front End Content Development - BEx queries, web templates, ideally with SAP BW 7.3
Expertise in performance optimization and an understanding of how best to leverage SAP BW and BWA
Experience with BO security model, access level and rights
Interaction with Business Users and hence process area knowhow and good communication skills would be added bonus experience to develop and optimize BW BEx Queries for SAP Business Objects consumption.
Customer facing skills, Good communication.
Assist customer on business strategies.
SAP ISU data model knowledge is advantageous.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the program of work is delivered with BO best practices. This initial short term role, 3 months, with potential extension and required to begin in June.
