SAP BW/BI Lead Consultant - SAP BI, SAP BW, SAP BO, HANA

SAP BW/BI Lead Consultant required to deliver a Global Template Solution in the Asia Pacific & Japan region, end user environment. Scope includes, BI 7.0, Business Objects and potentially HANA.

Responsibilities and Tasks
*Provide subject matter expertise of the SAP solution in within the BW space to countries within the Asia-Pacific region.
*Lead local country workshops throughout the Planning phase of the Asia-Pacific Waves in the BW functional area to drive the capture of local requirements that the template is required to support including Tax, Legal and Statutory (TLS).
*Accountable for the deliverables produced during the Program Life Cycle (eg preparation for blueprint workshops, review of blueprint, functional designs and configurations documentation).
*Responsible for providing estimates to the Asia-Pacific Program Manager for identified member firm changes, to be managed via the Global change control process.
*Provide guidance and support to the Global, Regional and Local training teams
*Collaboratively work with project team in relation to preparation of project plan, cutover tasks and deployment activities
*Working collaboratively with the Global Business Process and Solution Architect in the BW Reporting stream to ensure that the future global roadmap considers the Asia-Pacific member firm requirements.
*Support regional and local data management Lead/Team members to plan, prioritize and execute data management tasks/activities/deliverables (eg, data cleansing activities, data verification).
*Support the regional testing effort, ensuring that defects are prioritized and actioned correctly and test scripts produced adequately test all business scenarios represented in the template.
*Support and guide regional offices local user acceptance testing and training deliverables in relation to the business process changes that adopting the template will drive.
*Provide ongoing input and guidance into the global template to support evolving Asia-Pacific regional needs
*Collaborate with the Global team to manage the roadmap

Qualifications, skills and experience
*Solid SAP subject matter expertise in the BW space, including exposure to Business Objects
*Strong consulting experience in the SAP space, with at least 5 years plus SAP experience in support and Global SAP project environments.
*Maturity in personal skills and the practical application SAP methodologies.
*Comfortable in both strategic and hands-on roles - eg able to coach client teams in assembly of their test scope, approach and logistics, bringing practical SAP experience and examples to bear
*Pragmatic attitude and flexible to changing priorities and demands
*Ability to translate key project information from a business perspective.
*Decision making and issue resolution skills and empowerment to make decisions.
*Ability to liaise between Global, Local and Regional team members and working in a virtual team.
*Strong interpersonal, verbal, written, analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills.
*Maturity in personal skills and the practical application SAP methodologies
*Ability to take end to end responsibility for initial design and related documentation both at a functional and business level, gaining formal approval and working with development teams.
*Ability to influence stakeholders at various levels to achieve an outcome within the constraints of implementing a SAP standard template
*The Regional Application Support team, to ensure that all post go-live test requirements are clearly understood and documented for that team to support post go-live.

SAP BW/BI Lead Consultant can be based from Australia, Hong Kong, Singapore or the Philippines.
