SAP BPC Consultant

SAP BPC Consultant - Geneva - Switzerland.

On behalf of our customer, a global company leader in their markets based in Switzerland, we are urgently looking for a SAP BPC Consultant to join a global project with the intention of more effectively managing and controlling the calculation of Standard Variable Costs (SVC) for raw materials, and conversion costs. The purpose of this project is to address the current limitations and optimize the existing processes, and the system solution, and also being able to provide effective reporting, and the calculation of variance analysis.

Overall project objectives:

- Optimize the budgeting preparation by standardizing and automating data gathering, assumptions maintenance and budget preparation
- Automate the budget calculation by implementing standard centrally governed calculation models applicable for Affiliates
- Provide Product costing at Actual cost with traceability of contributing cost drivers
- Implement costing simulations capabilities with tracking of cost scenario assumptions to support cost improvement strategies
- Improve the SVC reporting capabilities including Variance Analysis functionalities explaining cost variances between actual and budgeted/prior year results and splitting them to key drivers
- Establish comprehensive guidelines/costing manual supporting the data gathering and budgeting process

You will be responsible for:

- Interview and collect business/IS report requirements
- Prepare report functional design with project business team, write technical specification
- Build SAP BPC reports on internal solution, using SAP EPM (MS Excel add-in) and review with project team
- Consult and cooperate with solution delivery supplier to apply report build standards
- Demonstrate reports outcomes in DEV/QA systems to project team
- Perform unit tests in DEV system, complete functional test in QA system - with documentation of tests
- Support actively functional and user acceptance tests of reports built
- Complete report functional/technical documentation, finalize test results
- Prepare materials and perform how-how hand-over on reports

Experience with the same activities for SAP Business Warehouse report build is an advantage (SAP Web Bex/Bex)

- Functional, integration and user acceptance test scenarios
- Performance and load test scenarios - if applicable
- Reports materials hand-over to support organization

For this project, it is essential to have Solid hands-on experience with SAP BPC reporting (and SAP Business Warehouse reporting) and data warehousing experience.
