SAP BPC 10 NETWEAVER DEVELOPER  (BUSINESS OBJECTS, BUSINESS EXPLORER, INFOPROVIDER DATA, INFOOBJECT DATA, ABAP, BW, OLAP, BO, SAP R/3 FI)

LOCATION: CAPE TOWN

Axica Recruitment is looking for a SAP BPC 10 Netweaver Developer to work a 6-12 Month Contract with a global client in Cape Town.

KEY DUTIES  

- Design a complete BPC application, with dimensions, properties etc   with SAP BPC on Netweaver platform.
- Develop, modify, and manage Input Forms, Reports, Business Process Flows, Business Logic, Queries for budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
- Update and maintain dimensions of BPC databases (ie units, unit trees, accounts, account trees, exchange rates, etc.)
- Building budget models and maintaining calculations with the budget models
- Develop SAP BPC reports using reporting tools (Business Objects, Business Explorer, etc.) to facilitate seamless drill-through analysis
- Configure Data Manager Packages for uploading flat files, InfoProvider data, InfoObject data using Conversion file and transformation files
- Communicate and effectively present ideas and solutions to customers, team members, and partners
- Provide support for end users of BPC to include management of end user access, monitoring/resolving system performance issues, and uploading data.
- Assist with the development of training materials for budgeting and forecasting module implementation
- Plan and accomplish goals assigned as part of often diverse and distributed teams in a collaborative manner regardless of assigned role or reporting structure
- Participate in the development and support of reporting solutions within the mixed BW environments.

SKILL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

- Experience in designing BPC application, dimensions, properties and maintenance with SAP BPC on Netweaver platform.
- Experience in BPC application logic and data load packages.
- 3+ Years of Experience in ABAP - Working knowledge of SAP ERP and BW.
- Must have thorough understanding of BPC functionality obtained from actual implementation and roll-out or administration of BPC
- Expert level BPC configuration skills
- Proficient with reporting tools, especially the Business Objects suite: Business Explorer (BEx) and Web Intelligence (WebI) preferred.
- Proven understanding of OLAP concepts
- Good knowledge of the Windows operating systems.
- Experience in Financial Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting process.
- Performance Management or Business Intelligence background
- Strong financial acumen with the ability to solve complex problems.
- Solid understanding of a complete budget and operating cycle with consolidated financial results.
- Knowledge of financial statements and their inter-relationships.
- Knowledge of development of budgeting/forecasting models or financial consolidation models
- Expert level skills in Microsoft Excel
- Must be comfortable client interfacing and knowledge transfer.
- Basic VBA experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of the SAP R/3 FI module is preferred
