Our client is urgently searching for a strong SAP Basis Consultant with SAP BW Backend technical, SAP BI Platform, SAP Components, SAP Infrastructure architecture, Security and Basis, SAP Technical integration experience to work on a critical project in Norway as a contractor.

This is an English speaking role.

The role:

We are searching for a SAP Basis resource with DEEP TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE of:

- SAP Business Warehouse
- SAP Business Intelligence Platform

Who can manage and develop the:

- infrastructure
- application solution architecture of a large and complex environment.

Our SAP BW landscape consists of:

- Main BW system on SAP NW 7.4 on HANA
- EPM system on SAP NW 7.5 on HANA
- Business Objects 4.2
- Lumira
- Cloud Analytics
- Front End tools

The candidate should have experience in these tools and be able to develop and design an overall system architecture and a future landscape design for these and future/other relevant tools.

The candidate should also be able to adopt to our agile and lean ways of working.

TASKS/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Basis Development and Project support on BI Platform:

- Design technical architecture for new solutions and infrastructure
- Implement technical components and infrastructure
- Project and Production support within technical area

Planning meeting, daily stand-up, retrospectives with relevant stakeholders and drive the improvement work in SAP BW/BIP area, and projects through agile methodologies

Follow up and assist sourcing partners delivering BI Platform Production/Operation from on-site and offshore India:

- Maintain and Upgrade all BW related components in SAP Landscape
- House-keeping/ALM (Application Lifecycle Management)
- Transport management
- Dataload

IT Service Management:

ITIL framework is a basis for IT Service Management, and ServiceNow is used as tool for all ITSM processes.
