SAP ABAP Software Engineer - English Speaking Contract in Zurich

For a global bank we are searching for a SAP ABAP Software Engineer to join a project for one year +.

Are you passionate about delivering building robust and scalable software in our SAP System?

We're looking for someone like that to help us:

- analyze requirements, design and implement solutions with ABAP OR ABAP OO, and develop SAP report- and dialogue programs as defined by the systems development life cycle (SDLC)
- test unit and integration of components for integration into larger subsystems
- support in resolving defects and prepare fixes to be installed into test- and production systems
- make sure that produced code is secure, stable and operational before handover
- collaborate with other global IT teams

Your team: You'll be working in the Operational Accounting team in Zurich. We are a midsize capability unit within Core Banking.

We are looking for candidates with:

- at least 5 years of experience in ABAP/4 AND ABAP OO
- ideally worked previously with the SAP module FS-AM or has experience in the financial services industry
- good knowledge of BTE and BADI, knowing BDT is advantageous
- worked with Incident Management Tools like ServiceNow, SAP-Transport Tools (STMS) and maybe also quality management software like Quality Center.

You are:

- curious and collaborative, comfortable working independently, as well as in a team
- fluent in English, German speaking is an advantage
