SAP ABAP Programmer/Team Lead - London

SAP ABAP Lead/Programmer needed for a permanent position based in Central London. This role will involve leading an offshore team of programmers as well as hands on programming. I'm looking for someone with at least 5 years SAP ABAP experience. Previous Team Lead/Management experience is not essential but my client are looking for someone who can demonstrate leadership qualities.

My global client has a state-of-the-art SAP system which is responsible for central SD system support and programming. The successful candidate will gather together and analyse the requirements of the international sales areas, provide advice for the design of processes and develop design and functional specifications for the ABAP programming. There is a large focus on optimisation and new development of applications and interfaces.
