SAP ABAP Analyst - Programmer - Financial Services Exp Essential

Expertise in traditional SAP development, integration and test tools such as

- ABAP,
- ABAP Objects
- ABAP WorkBench
- ABAP performance tuning
- Dynpro
- SQL Trace
- RFC
- iDoc/ALE
- BAPI
- SAP Workflow
- Testing with eCATT and within Solution Manager
- SAP Smartforms.

The Role

- Analysis of user/functional requirements.
- Translating functional requirements into technical specifications. Technical Analysis. Technical design
- Prototyping of IT systems, modules and components.
- Programming IT software.
- SAP customizing.
- Testing (unit testing and integration testing), validation of solutions.
- Drafting documentation. (technical and functional) including documentation for the support team.
- Support team with the training of system users.
- Assisting with the evaluation and testing of products delivered by external system suppliers.
- Troubleshooting, debugging, diagnosis, user support.

Additional Skills

- Good knowledge of the design and development of web and multi-tier applications.
- Good knowledge of modelling tools (eg UML, BPEL, BPMN, Entity-Relationship diagrams, SBVR)
- Knowledge of software development methodologies (eg RUP, AGILE, SCRUM)
- Knowledge of relational database systems (RDBMS)
