Sandford Cascade e-Learning Officer (Part Time)

November 2015-September 2019

Bishop Grosseteste University is seeking an inspirational and imaginative eLearning professional to support the HLF funded Sandford Cascade Project from November 2015 to September 2019. The Sandford Award is an established and respected accolade bestowed upon heritage sites that have excellent heritage education services. This project will enable heritage staff in sites all over the East Midlands to access examples of best practice at Sandford Award winning sites using a range of eLearning tools in order to improve their practice. It will also design and initiate a new family Sandford Award.

You will be a skilled and responsive colleague with a varied and relevant set of experience in supporting adults choosing and using appropriate technology and eLearning strategies to aid their professional development. You will be an adept problem solver with experience of working as part of a team with a range of stake holders to find imaginative solutions to complex and unpredictable challenges. You will be familiar with and sympathetic to the philosophy and purpose of the Sandford Award and Heritage Lottery Funding. The idea candidate will have a good working knowledge of heritage sites across the East Midlands.
