SAN Storage Engineer - Dublin - 3 months rolling
Required Skills:
IBM, HP, Dell, EMC storage array monitoring, management, upgrades
IBM SVC appliance management
VMWare, Unix, Windows administration experience
Storage replication technologies
Brocade and Cisco SAN switch management and upgrades
Fibre Channel protocol
Data centre and storage migrations
Multi-path software installation and configuration (PowerPath, MPIO)
Strong troubleshooting abilities with proven track record of root cause analysis and major incident support
An experienced SAN Engineer is required to join an existing team providing a managed storage service to multiple clients. This is a BAU role.
Duties:
SAN/Storage support in a multi-vendor production environment
Capacity planning and reporting
Performance management and tuning
Carry out firmware upgrades and other project work including some out-of-hours' work as appropriate
Adhere to established change, incident and problem management processes
Create and maintain documentation and other reusable material such as configuration scripts in order to drive efficiency within the team.
Perform knowledge transfer and mentoring as appropriate
