Sales Manager (m/f) Drives / Steel Making Industry

Our client is a worldwide leading engineering and manufacturer of capital equipment for the steel making industry, known for their strengths in mechanical engineering, electronics, automation, manufacturing, project management and service. For their location in the area of Nuremberg we are looking for a Sales Manager (m/f) Drives / Steel Making Industry for an unlimited permanent Position.

Location: Area of Nuremberg

Type of contract: unlimited permanent position direct with our client

Your Key Tasks:

*Creation of offers in close collaboration with sales departments and purchasing department
*Configuration of the drives according to the required applications of the rolling mill
*Market price derivation / target price determination
*Assessment of supplier offers
*Generate cost estimates
*Negotiation of offers directly with customers
*Execution of projects as a sub-project manager or project manager with profit and loss responsibility
*Creation of the documents for the execution of hardware and software engineering (Basic Design)
*Responsibility for the allocation and controlling of engineering work packages
*Project support regarding technical questions
*Creation of modernization studies

Your profile:

*Degree in electrical engineering, ideally focused on drive technology
*Profound professional experience regarding the hardware / software engineering of drive systems in the rolling mill sector
*Knowlegde of hardware engineering of various drive systems like Siemens, ABB, TMEIC or Hitachi
*Experience in offer preparation would be an advantage
*High customer orientation
*Results driven
*Good communication, planning and organizational skills
*Fluent English language skills, spoken and written
*Willingness to travel worldwide (ca. 30%)
