Sales Manager - Director Designate

A rare opportunity has arisen to join the sales team of an unique specialist critical power solutions manufacturer of Switchgear and UPS systems.

The successful candidate will be initially starting in the position of UK Sales Manager, where they will be responsible for growing key accounts and acquiring new business particularly in the industries of rail, renewable energy, oil & gas and data centres.

They will also have the responsibility of developing a sales force to expand throughout the country. Should the candidate succeed in hitting targets, there is a genuine opporutunity for an ambitious professional to progress to Sales Director, as they are keen to grow the team once established, so this individual will have a major chance to grow a team underneath them.

It is essential for this role that you:

- Have a good technical understanding of either UPS Systems or Switchgear (LV-MV) and related products, Knowledge of both is not essential, but is advantageous.
- Have a proven track record in selling these solutions to the marketplace. Having a good portfolio of consultant/contractor contacts will also be desirable, as you will be building the business.
- Management experience will be a bonus, as will be a record of developing and nurturing successful sales teams.
- This is a home based position, so the role will involve extensive amounts of travel around the UK, candidates must be prepared to travel on a daily basis.

Salary will be negiotable for the right candidate depending on experience, however currently the remuneration package ranges from £55-£65K, with a generous bonus scheme in place, alongside a car scheme, pension and healthcare.
