Sales Engineer (BI / Analytics / Big Data), £65K

My client are a niche and extremely innovative Business Intelligence / Analytics Vendor and are in need of an experienced Sales Engineer consultant to play a key role in their UK Sales Team. My client develop and sell an extremely innovative Business Intelligence / Analytics software product and due to demand in the market place need a technical pre sales expert.

Role:

You will be working closely with the Sales Team and Account Managers to identify and close business opportunities. You will enjoy working with leading edge BI / Analytics & Big Data software solutions and be part of an innovative pre-sales department.

Required skills and experience:

* Excellent knowledge of Business Intelligence / Analytics products.
* Working with Big Data Solutions.
* Strong presentation & communication skills.
* Strong technical background in Java and Unix.
* Proven track record working in a Pre-Sales / Sales Engineer role.
* Ideally come from a BI vendor background.
