ROLE: Safety Manager
LOCATION: Abbey Wood, Bristol
DURATION: Until April 2014
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The post holder will be working within the short range air Defence project team consisting of 50 members of staff, reporting to the Senior Engineer managing the following;
- Hazard log and safety case
- Progressing actions from the project safety environmental panel
- Management of the safety environment programme
- Management of defence stakeholders and industry supply chain.
ESSENTIAL - Knowledge of Safety and Environmental management.
DESIRABLE - knowledge of complex weapons & explosives.
