SAFETY MANAGER - AVIATION

This is a job opportunity with Government for a 6 month contract.

In general, you will assist the development of all inputs necessary to update the Puma HC2 Safety Case, Safety Case Reports, Hazard Logs and Loss Model.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Manage and update the Puma HC2 Forward Action Plan
- Managing resolution of outstanding comments against EC qualification documentation to support future RTS capability drops up to IOC. Undertake the appropriate actions derived from the recommendations from the ITE of the Puma HC2 Safety Case (including Hazard Log an Loss Model)
- Undertake the appropriate actions derived from the recommendations from the MAA review of the Puma HC2 Safety Case (including Hazard Log an Loss Model)
- Provide support to HoS for the development of the Puma HC2 Safety Products to the Puma capability drops up to IOC
- Provide support to Puma HC2 Hazard Log, Loss Model and Risk Reduction Working Group
- Provide support to the Puma Safety Panel, 2* Airworthiness Review and ASSWG

REQUIREMENTS

It is essential that you have experience in working on either MoD acquisition projects or support to an in-service platform, you must have an aircraft engineering background and ideally experience or knowledge of rotorcraft. It is also highly desirable that individuals have a current working knowledge of FAR 29 and civil regulations, and that you have a current working knowledge of DS 00-56, System Safety (use of Hazard Logs and Loss Models), and Regulatory Publications.
