SaaS Production Engineer

OUR CLIENT, an important multinational company is looking for his branch in Prague:

SAAS PRODUCTION ENGINEER  (M/F)

TASKS

- Administrate technically the services on behalf of customers assuring the availability and performance according to the defined contract (SLA), work to continuously improve technically the service;
- Assure the traffic growth and the service stability working in an improvement loop to stabilize;
- Participate on the traffic boosting activities assuring a good success rate and availability;
- Perform problem management to reduce the incidents happening in production;
- Administrate on a daily basis the service provided to the customer (be the technical expert on how to operate the service), doing maintenance, reporting (including monthly, communication (including issue report), changes administration;
- Follow up performance indicators (cacti) and work in advance to avoid problems;
- Participate technically on services handover between Project team and Production team (VTP, VLR, ATP, SAMIR).

REQUIREMENTS

- Degree in Computing/Electronic Engineering;
- Minimum 3 years working in IT/Telecom with Linux/Unix administration or applications administration using such technology in market;
- Fluent English, Spanish or Portuguese;
- Knowledge of Client server architecture, IT/Software architecture, Linux environment tools;
- Services SLA accomplished;
- SaaS solutions successfully deployed;
- Gaining efficiency (Comparison between SaaS vs non-SaaS operations);
- Linux/Unix (including concepts, administration, Shell script, AWK): Autonomous/Expert;
- Oracle/Network/SNMP/JMX/Perl: Basics (autonomous/expert is a good asset);
- ITIL: Foundations is an asset;
- Ability to work under pressure;
- Strong analytic skills;
- Focused on results (ability to understand and apply priorities).
