DESCRIPTION:

Primary objective of the job:

- Responsibility for all aspects of the commercial relationships with roaming partners Negotiate innovative wholesale deals with our client's partners designed to optimise the balance between inbound revenue and outbound cost.
- Responsible for revenue from Outbound Roaming Products.
- Maximising wholesale and retail roaming revenues and margin is the goal.
- Develop and execute retail strategies in our markets and work with the Roaming team to deliver the best possible roaming experience for our client's customers.

Main Duties and responsibilities:

- Liaise with all our client's markets and management to develop and track the roaming budget
- Negotiate preferred roaming deals and manage the relationship with preferred operators
- Provide support to management across all our client's markets with respect to the performance of roaming
- Prepare reports where necessary for management and keep them informed of all major issues
- Seek out new and innovative revenue opportunities for the wholesale roaming business
- Liaise with markets to develop and execute strategies to increase retail outbound roaming
- Manage the group marketing initiative for roaming and marketing budget
- Manage the wholesale international messaging business

- Management teams including Roaming, Billing, Technical and Finance
- Roaming partners and regional competitors
- Industry vendors

REQUIREMENTS:

Academic qualifications and experience required for job:

- Minimum 3 years Industry related experience with mobile telephone operators and/or companies
- Strong negotiating and analytical skills
- Good understanding of roaming, billing and technical requirements for wireless networks
- Ability to interact with cross functional teams
- Proficient with Microsoft excel and good working knowledge of Microsoft Powerpoint
