RN Clinical Complaint Specialist Job

YOH has a contract job opportunity for a qualified RN/CLINICAL COMPLAINT SPECIALIST to join our client in RAYNHAM, MASS.

JOB OVERVIEW:

Qualified applicants will be expected to work for a period of 6-9 months, 40 hours per week supporting our client with a project to review existing product complaints to ensure they meet newly implemented procedures and Medical Device reporting requirements

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Reviewing complaint event descriptions to help determine potential patient impact for FDA MDR reporting.
- Provide input to complaint analysts to help them ask the right questions if they need to contact the complainant for additional information.
- Contact the complainant directly to obtain additional event information to determine MDR reportability.
- Work independently, and guides others, in decision making regarding MDR and vigilance reporting of product complaints.
- Participate in special projects as assigned by management personnel and will provide feedback and suggestions for process improvement projects for optimization of the complaint handling system.
- Responsible for maintaining the quality processes associated with product complaint handling, procedures, and controls to ensure that all complaints are processed in accordance with established company procedures and worldwide regulations and applicable standards.
- Evaluate all information from a clinical perspective to ensure appropriate Root Cause analysis and investigation, and that any appropriate actions are undertaken and documented.

Job Qualifications:

- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is required.
- Four (4) years of practical nursing and/or clinical experience is required.
- GMP and/or ISO regulated environment is preferred.
- Experience in medical device industry is preferred.
- Prior experience working directly with Complaint Investigations is preferred.
- The ability to work independently on routine tasks with high attention to detail is required.
- Good communication skills, the ability to multi-task, strong organizational skills, and thrive on deadlines is required.
- Strong oral, written, and computer skills are required.
- An ability to work cross functionally and promote good working relationships with other teams, to determine priorities, state challenges productively, and solve problems is required.
