Risk Manager (Operations Manager/Strategy Manager)

We are looking to recruit a Risk Manager, on a contract basis to join a large client's Credit, Debt and Risk function, to work across a large commercial portfolio.

Working across the wider portfolios with numerous key stakeholder and third parties, in a highly strategic capacity, the role is responsible for developing, implementing and managing collections and recoveries strategies for customers who are in debt - reducing arrears and Bad Debt Charge and getting our customers out of debt as quickly as possible; helping them stay out of debt.

The Risk Manager role will assume ownership of determining and implementing collections and recoveries strategies moving forwards, utilising risk techniques such as portfolio segmentation, Early and Late stage collections scoring, champion/challenger trials, and where appropriate the effective use of specialist treatment options such as litigation.

This is a high level operations management, collections strategy and stakeholder management role, proactively focused on improving the collections and recoveries process, and ultimately increase the amount collected.

In terms of Operations and People Management, the Risk Manager will be tasked with the development, management and motivation of a group of credit analytics professionals within the Customer Operations arm of the company to deliver with the outlined strategy.
