Risk Manager - Oil & Gas

Risk Manager with experience in the Oil & Gas industry required for a 6 month contract assignment based in Oslo.

In the role of Risk Manager your responsibilities will include:

- Acting on behalf of Project Management in all risk related matters
- Managing the contract scope of work defined under risk management.
- Act as an advisor and supervisor for risk management projects.

The ideal candidate for the role of Risk Manager should have:

- Strong experience in Risk Management, preferably within the Oil and Gas industry
- A firm understanding of risk management principles, including familiarity with the relevant professional standards (eg ISO31000/31010, ISO9001/9004/14001, OHSAS18001, DNV-RP-H101)
- Experienced in evaluation, problem solving, planning, process and policy development.
- Excellent communications skills with fluent English.
- Able to interact between legal, contractual technical and commercial performance.
- Able to understand the SOW and its technical challenges and confident to challenge technical solutions, commercial assumptions and strategies.
- Eligibility to work in Norway (EU Passport/Work Permit Holder)
