Risk Manager

RISK MANAGER LIFE AND PENSIONS MIDLANDS

My Major Life and Pensions client is undergoing a series of large scale change programmes aimed at changing the business across the group. They are seeking an Internal Model Risk Manager with strong risk management and excellent stakeholder management skills.

The key requirements are:

- AT LEAST 5 YEARS RECENT EXPERIENCE IN FINANCIAL SERVICES PREFERABLY IN LIFE AND PENSIONS
- Technical knowledge - strong actuarial, risk management, Solvency II and ICA knowledge, withcredibility when communicating "what good looks like", especially in respect of methodology & assumptions documentation, change management, operational controls, validation, expert judgement and uses of the Internal Model output.
- Stakeholder management - an ability to tailor communication style to specific stakeholders and contexts, and build professional and close working relationships and rapport with key stakeholders of a variety of levels and disciplines, whilst maintaining objectivity and independence.
- Ideally a qualified actuary with experience in the finance or actuarial functions of an insurance company, or similar.

RATE: £700 - £1000 per day (Dependent on experience)
LOCATION: Midlands
START: ASAP
DURATION: 3months (Extension expected)
