For a leading energy company I'm currently looking for a

Risk Manager (m/f)

Your role:

* Develop, implement and calibrate models for valuing continental power assets, especially gas fired generation
* Risk assess new deal proposals and play a pivotal role in the approval process
* Further develop asset related reports for management reporting purposes
* Review asset related transactions on an ad hoc basis
* Monitor risk and performance for Trading and Origination portfolios
* Deliver high quality financial reporting to the accountancy department and meet deadlines
* Support the controlling department with change analysis for various valuations
* Develop the risk methodology and policy further in cooperation with other colleagues in the pan-European risk unit
* Improve systems and processes for risk control

Your profile:

* University degree in Econometrics, Mathematics, Physics, or another quantitative study
* About 3 years Working experience in Risk Management in energy markets
* Highly analytical, risk aware, accurate but pragmatic
* Team player, enjoy working in a international working environment
* Good IT-skills and a genuine interest in working with numbers
* Self-driven and able to take initiative
* Fluent in German or English, other languages are an advantage
