Risk & Incident Manager

Based in Manchester or Skelmersdale, I'm looking to recruit a Risk & Incident Manager to work on a contract basis for one of the UK's leading banks.

As Risk and Incident Manager, keeping risks and incidents at Bay is vital to everything we do, but taking the correct and necessary actions to prevent them occurring again is the most important part of this role. Which means you'll also be responsible for making sure our governance processes and frameworks are up to date and working as well as they should.

Drawing on your experience in a similar role, you'll lead our Risk, Governance and Incident/Business Continuity Planning teams, ultimately, making sure each person in every team understands their role in dealing with risks in the most effective way possible.

A confident and proven Risk and Incident Manager with experience of fraud risk management, we're looking for someone with a particular expertise in control design and practical implementation within the financial services industry. You'll take a hands-on approach - especially with the RCSA process - and the ability to negotiate with and influence key decision makers is essential. It's also important that you have a good understanding of project management methodologies and of the financial services market and its associated legislative and regulatory environment.
