We are looking to recruit a RISK AND CONTROLS MANAGER to work within the INVESTMENTS department of a large INSURANCE company within BRISTOL at the rate of £500-£600.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Responsible for the Investment Operations Controls framework, ensuring processes, risks and appropriate controls are identified, evaluated, documented and reported.
- Lead of Investment Operations risk management including identification and documentation of key risks within Investment Operations.
- Responsible for liaising with Unit Pricing Committee Secretarial and other Unit Linked governance committees.
- Supporting the outsourced service provider oversight.
- Unit Pricing Policy maintenance and compliance within Investment Operations.
- Managing Controls team responsible for capture of daily policy holder and shareholder liability data.
- Delivery of accurate, timely, informative and insightful Box Management MI and reporting into governance committees.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

- Experience in Investment Accounting, Unit Pricing & other finance systems
- Financial Services essential
- Life Insurance desirable
- Risk Management and Compliance Reporting experience
- Strong technical and analytical skills
- Stakeholder management skills
