For a 6 month project at our banking client in Zurich, we are looking for an experienced

RISK ANALYST/MANAGER - ERC/QUANT (4240)

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:

- MULTIPLE YEARS OF WORKING EXPERIENCE WITHIN BANKING OR INSURANCE INDUSTRY
- EXPERIENCE IN QUANTITATIVE RISK MANAGEMENT AND/OR RELATED IMPLEMENTATION PROJECTS, PREFERABLY W/R TO ERC CONCEPT/FRAMEWORK
- DEEP UNDERSTANDING OF FINANCIAL RISK MANAGEMENT PROCESSES AND RISK MANAGEMENT FRAMEWORKS
- Professional skills in MS Office
- Strong analytical thinking to pick up dependencies and requirements quickly and analyze implications
- Strong team player with ability to work across different areas and engage key stakeholders
- Ability to communicate and document topics clearly and effectively
- Willingness and ability to produce high quality, accurate work, to tight deadlines
- EXCELLENT SPOKEN AND WRITTEN ENGLISH, GERMAN PREFERRED

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Supporting the Group-wide Economic Risk Capital (ERC) Development and Implementation program by coordinating requirements perspective, follow and track program updates and progress, review program submissions/deliveries, etc.
- Challenging and reviewing ERC methodology concepts, general capabilities and reporting solutions
- Conducting analysis and quality checks on ERC numbers provided and compare to other risk reports, known risk profile and propose and track remediation actions, where required
- Preparing presentations on ERC concept and numbers for Senior Management and Regulators
- Supporting the monthly ERC reporting by providing comments on key changes and model implications and further develop and refine reporting views
- Supporting the development of a risk appetite framework based on ERC and include considerations around ERC-based performance management and pricing approach
