Risk Analyst

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Assists the Risk Manager in the implementation and compliance of property and casualty risk management programs.
- Evaluates insurance contracts, requesting required certificates of insurance from brokers, gathering data for various submission reports, and communicating insurance programs with other departments.
- Reviews and evaluates insurance language in property leases.
- Requests property, liability, auto, and workers compensation certificates of insurance from brokers as required by lease.
- Reviews service, sales, drop box, and other contracts from legal, issuing certificate of insurance as required.
- Assists Property Department, landlords, and landlord's mortgagees on insurance compliance at loan closings.
- Provides support to the Aviation Department, airports across the globe, and government programs as needed for aviation and liability insurance compliance.
- Maintains property and insurance spreadsheet as required.
- Provides copies of leases and other documents available to assist in claims.
- Provides ongoing insurance and risk management support and assistance as needed.

SKILLS

- Must have CISR, CIC designations or course work in progress and a Tennessee Agent's License, Commercial 25 - Property & 28 - Casualty, or equivalent.
- A minimum of three years in risk management environment, insurance company, or brokerage is required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
- Strong interpersonal skills are needed: must be able to interface with all levels of personnel within departments both domestic and international, customers, and other outside associates.
- Excellent computer skills are a must: experienced in Windows environment, Word, Excel, Access, and Lotus Notes, use of online certificate request data system, global property data system, and any other data systems as may be required.
- Must have excellent time management skills, be flexible and able to handle a variety of tasks simultaneously.
