Rig Reactivation Manager

Project Outline:

Our client has 2 platforms, currently producing hydrocarbons that require rig reactivation. However, no drilling has been undertaken for some time. The drilling equipment sets (DES) have been cold-stacked but have been subject to preservation maintenance routines.

The re-activation works shall enable the platform to conduct, but not be limited to, wirelining, workovers, new well drilling to enhance production and ultimately enable plug and abandonment.

Purpose Of Job:

* To act as the primary interface between the client and contractor in relation to rig re-activation projects.
* To act as the primary interface between projects & engineering and operations & maintenance internally within OD.
* To manage and control all project related activities required to deliver rig re-activations on time, on budget, with appropriate quality standards and an exemplary safety performance.

* Quality management and regulatory compliance

* "ready to drill" condition

Areas of Responsibility:

* Manage the projects in accordance with OD project execution model with specific focus on change management
* Punctual and accurate reporting to all stakeholders
* Supply chain and 3rd party selection and control
* Chair and minute all interface selection meetings internally and externally
* FPAL reviews on project delivery and within vendors as appropriate
* Site/offshore management visits
* Ensure well programmes remain within operational boundaries of the DES
* Chair HAZOP/HAZID, Root Cause Analysis and Non-conformity meetings and/or review processes

Qualifications & Experience:

* Degree in a technical discipline
* Ideally a minimum of 5 years in a similar role and projects/operations and maintenance offshore
* Supplementary qualifications in safety or project management desirable
* All requisite offshore certification
