RFIC TEST ENGINEER - 6 MONTHS - BELGIUM
Optimus Search are working with an engineering consultancy based in Belgium to identify and hire a RFIC Test Engineer. The position will work on creation of the next generation mobile phone chips, with a specific focus on characterization and validation of new RF devices.
The role requires a skilled Test Engineer who is able to have an active input in designing tests and interpreting and reporting on results. The position requires a strong team-player, it requires the successful candidate to function as part of an international team and attend regular meetings to discuss the project.
The core technical function of the role will be to test integrated RF circuits in the 100 MHz to 15 GHz range in advanced CMOS (or similar) technologies.

REQUIREMENTS
- Solid RF and RF communications experience.
- Expertise in CMOS integrated (digitized or analog) Tx architectures, advanced Rx architectures.
- Advanced knowledge on Matlab, specially OO programming.
- Knowledge on PCB and circuit design with RF constraints is a plus.
- Experience with RF electronic Instrumentation, Signal analyzer, tuner, VNA.
- Statistical data analysis and reporting.
- Product experience in any of these domains is a plus: Digital inspired RF transceivers, RF filters, RF duplexers, PA's, RF Frontends, envelope modulators, Switches.
