BE in Electrical/Telecommunications/Electronics or equivalent from a recognized engineering university

Conenct44 is looking for RF wi-FI design Engineer
Certification in CCNA/CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Associate/Professional) is preferred

Certification in Advanced Project Management (PMP/Prince 2)

Relevant certification/training in Femto BSR Cluster, UMTS Technology, UMTS Core Network Protocols

Experience

More than 8 years of relevant experience in RF Design (WiFi/Small cell)

Background:

The ideal candidate will come from a Tier 1 or 2 public Telecom network operators where he has been involved with the planning, design and engineering of the wireless network in the broadest sense. He has been leading a team of engineers responsible for RF design.

Key Responsibilities

Manages Small Cell networks (eg, WiFi offloading, Femto, IBS).

Develops RF plan, neighbor plan and configuration data for site integration.

Follows up on multi-channel networks (RF/BSS/TX/Fiber/Core/Power).

Manages coverage and capacity scope, reviewing/approving designs.

Ensures the effective planning and implementation of various aspects of Radio Frequency network design and ensures that the relevant design standards are maintained for IBB scope.

Ensures that frequency assignment is done effectively as per the requirements of each region in coordination with Wireless Access Design.

Prepares
Request for Proposals (RFP) documents and evaluates tenders.

Selects vendors based on the tendering process.

Conductssurveys and site visits to identify site issues.

Coordinates site owner contracts.

Performssite acceptance and handover.

Performstelecom and civil coordination.

Reviewsand approves ACR/NCR.

Reportsprogress and updates database.

Followsup of the Project Implementation Plan.
