Our client is urgently looking for 3 RF Planners to join a 1 year contract in Norway (Oslo) due to the nature of the project only EU nationals will be consider.
JOB DETAILS
Experience Level - 4 - 6 Years Design wireless network InterconnecT systems both analog and digital networks. Perform circuit/system level optimization of RF circuit blocks including Receiver, Transmitter, and Frequency Generation Unit (FGU). Define requirements/specifications and carry out modelling/simulation to analysis the design. Use complex RF test equipment in an RF laboratory to test and validate the design. The RF design should be manufacturable, cost effective and meeting project cost, schedule, and quality goals. Other responsibilities include Component selection/evaluation/qualification, Product factory introduction/yield improvements, Field testing/resolution to design issues.
SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES
* Perform coverage prediction studies using Planning Tool
* Define sites radio configuration (antennas, cables, and other RF design parameters)
* Analysis of compliance with coordination rules and proposing changes as required
* Liaise with Site Acquisition and Design engineer teams
* Produce frequency plans
* Air interface traffic capacity forecast and planning
* Perform site surveys when required
SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
* BS Degree or equivalent in Telecoms Engineering.
* Experience in a similar position; knowledge of Wireless Technologies, Network Planning & PMR.
* Experience in Radio Engineering background
* Experience in Radio test equipment
