Key Purpose

Of Job

Responsible Engineer for the Search And Rescue Transponder (SART) unit

procurement

Responsible for Navigation and SART Payloads RF tests specifications and

results analysis.

Key Tasks - Engineering responsible for the SART Payload, include unit procurement,

test specifications, test results analysis, performance assessment and

anomalies investigations

Support to RF performances assessment of the Navigation Payload.

Test results post-processing (e.g. MATLAB) to ensure RF system

requirements verification closure

Support RFC analysis

Liaise with suppliers and customer technical experts

There will be occasional international travel required to supplier and client

sites.

PERSON SPECIFICATION (essential requirements)

Qualifications - Engineering degree in Electronics or equivalent

Experience - 5 - 10 years of satellite RF testing engineering

Familiar with RF Test Systems (EGSE)

Knowledge ability to

interface with customer and technical representatives

Organised and self motivated

Able to work under pressure

Flexible & adaptable to changing priorities
