JOB PURPOSE
To take on leadership of the RF & microwave design team proactively working on commercial projects as well as the R predominantly Production and Sales & Marketing.

This role is best suited to passionate individuals with strong background and knowledge in the fields of RF design and technologies.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
Hands on design and development a range of RFtask allocation and personal development of a team of highly skilled developers. This position will involve supervising a team member remotely.
To work jointly with other team leaders to advance the product range and functionality.
To support design and development of new ranges of products in collaboration with the Sales and Marketing team.
To review and control technical documents and inspire colleagues.
RF system analysis and simulation of RF line up. This requires excellent understanding of interaction and relationships between key parameters including gain, power levels, linearity, VSWR, NF, signal related spurii etc.
Hardware design and development including electronics and RF modules, primarily for indoor applications.
System analysis and link budgets for linear and non-linear systems.
Strong knowledge of semiconductor technologies and devices.
To provide technical support to other areas of my clients business and interaction with colleagues in other engineering disciplines, as well as sales & marketing and customer support.

This role covers product design from concept to finish.

Hence it will include:
o Technical documentation and preparation of data sheets
o Design reviews and technical briefings
o Test Reports
o System Analysis
o Supervision and gate reviews

Contribute to expansion of RF/Microwave knowledge, processes and techniques within the company.
