RF Engineer/Contract/London:

My client a leading global organisation based in London are currently seeking a RF Engineer, to come on board and join the team on a contract basis for an initial 6 month contract plus extension.

The successful candidate for this position will be involved in Research and Development team specifying, designing, developing and testing novel and existing antenna Front End circuit solutions for 4G LTE, UMTS, CDMA, GSM, Bluetooth, WiFi and GPS radio standards.

Duties & Responsibilities
Maintaining the competitor analysis reports and literature for latest mobile antenna technologies
Antenna Front End circuit Research and Development across all cellular bands for implementation into mobile devices
Support clients with requirements definition, project definition, and project planning
RF design at both system and circuit level and PCB layout
RF Front End circuit
RF testing and Validation of modules and sub-system

Essential Knowledge & Skills:
Extensive knowledge of power amplifiers, LNA, up/down converters, ADCs and DACs.
Experience of simulation and modelling tools
Strong working knowledge of RF oscillator, transmitters, receivers, modulators, filters and RF shielding
Excellent working knowledge of RF Front End analogue circuit layout design and RF test equipment
Experience on active RF matching or filtering and be able to construct antenna Front End circuit prototypes in-house
Able to use Network and Spectrum analysers in laboratory test setup
Experienced with GSM, UMTS and LTE requirements
