RF Engineer

RF Hardware Engineer needed to develop prototypes and test hardware of passive wireless temperature sensor systems. The RF Engineer must be able to travel overseas and be an excellent communicator and presenter. This is a Direct Hire Position located in New Hampshire. Relocation is provided.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Develops prototypes and tests hardware of passive wireless temperature sensor systems.
- FEM modeling, control and simulation toll and trouble shooting of firmware (C, C++, Basic, Lab view) and RF circuit hardware issues
- Develops the system measurement set up, performs lab experiments and generates test reports.
- Generate system level datasheets, specifications, application notes and installation guides for customers.

REQUIREMENTS

- BSEE and 3+ years RF Engineering experience, developing Prototypes and testing hardware for the "proof of concepts" stage of passive wireless temperature sensor system
- Skills using of antennas, Digital and RF measurements (Network Analyzers and Spectrum Analyzer)
- Experienced with wireless sensor output interfaces and protocols (i.e. 4-20mA analog output, RS-232, RS-485, CanBus, Modbus etc)
- Embedded Firmware and Software development, programming (C, C++, Labview coding, Pascal, Fortran etc)
- Knowledge of FEM modeling, control and simulation toll (HFSS, COMSOL,CST, Matlab, Microwave office, PSpice, Eagelware etc)
- Digital signal processing, knowledge to run complex mixed signal systems and RF system engineering plus knowledge of Radio Frequency environments, FCC regulations, EMC/EMI and the different worldwide ISM bands.
