A new exciting opportunity for an experienced Retail Communications Executive to work on a 5 month contract for our large blue chip Company client based in Hatfield

Role: Retail Communications Executive

Essential Criteria:
Advanced PowerPoint and Word skills
Proven internal communications experience within a dynamic commercial environment
Extensive experience of operational, sales channel and engagement communications
Proven experience in building strong relationships and ability to facilitate at a leadership level; enabling clear, engaging and inspiring communications to land effectively across all our stores
A successful track record of delivery within a fast paced Retailer, achieving high customer service standards in an operational role.
Demonstrate ability to develop and maintain an effective network of contacts and build relationships at all levels of the organisation and externally.
Able to analyse business information and interpret within a Retail Environment.

Desirable Criteria:
Graduate calibre
Knowledge of project management methodology
Experience of design packages
Experience of online publishing, content management systems and HTML coding
Experience in delivering proactive social media communication programmes
Knowledge of brand awareness

Job Purpose:
The Retail Communications team is a core function that delivers proactive process, procedural and engagement communications to the frontline for all new product, proposition & promotions that will support the delivery of the Retail commercial objectives.
Developing & delivering clear, concise and timely communications that enable the front line to sell & serve effectively are critical to the success of our retail growth objectives.
In a dynamic & competitive industry it is important that we make it as easy as possible for our frontline to understand the way in which we sell new products, propositions & promotions through easy, accessible platforms.
This team will be accountable for owning, delivering & maintaining a communication platform plus delivering engagement initiatives that engages the frontline and encourages feedback
This team sits in the Channel Marketing & Communications department in Sales and is accountable for channel marketing campaigns & channel communications across Retail & Indirect sales channels.

Key Responsibilities
Support Retail Comms Manager to develop & deliver the required communication platforms eg The Office.
Work closely with the Internal Communication Manager to help translate the engagement challenges into frontline tools.
Build strong relationships with the Field Leadership team and be responsible for developing and delivering their key messages to the store team in a clear and engaging way.
Work with key stakeholders across Retail, Props & Launch Management to define required operational processes & procedures for new products, propositions & promotions
Proactively support, challenge and hold to account key stakeholders and supporting functions to deliver communications on time that are 'Right first time' and appropriate to maximise understanding and engagement of the audience
Write and deliver concise, proactive and accurate engagement and store operational communications
Work collaboratively with the Store Support team to ensure all communications that the Retail Comms team send out are driving the right behaviour in store and are not causing unnecessary issues. Proactively respond to feedback to improve communications.
Input to the social media strategy and drive the outputs from this on an ongoing basis to ensure proactive communications can be undertaken via this media.
Define and implement social and online forums and be accountable for their success
