Resourcing Advisor

RESOURCE ADVISOR - TEMPORARY 3 MONTH CONTRACT - ASAP START - DERBY

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, motivated Resourcing Advisor to join a busy team within a well known construction and engineering company. This position is based out of our Derby offices. This is a temporary position lasting 3 months, with a start date of ASAP. The role is to support the resourcing team with sourcing for a high number of varied roles across the business.

As an employee you will;

- Show a clear understanding of direct sourcing and have a proven track record of successfully hitting direct sourcing targets.
- Act as one of the key points of contact for recruitment to employees, managers, directors and potential recruits.
- To provide a professional recruitment service to our regional contracts and offices nationwide.
- Deliver direct sourcing strategies and have an approach to access all appropriate candidate (apprentices/grads/scarce/internal talent/critical and exec).
- Utilise and govern a recruitment assessment framework.
- Work (where appropriate) with external recruitment suppliers in partnership to help drive improvements or cost efficiencies.

The following qualities/experience are essential;

- The role holder will have previous experience within the in house or agency receruitment industry.
- Ideally come from an engineering background
- The role holder will be understand resourcing practices and best practice solutions.
- The role holder will have the ability to inspire confidence of the managers, employees and candidates through understanding business needs and priorities and roles.
- Excellent communication skills - handles complex and difficult situations with thought and confidence.
