We are currently recruiting for a Resourcer for a fixed term contract. The Serco Recruitment Team provides a dedicated service to Volkswagen Group and are responsible for the management and delivery of all recruitment on behalf of Volkswagen Group (Head Office).

The role of the Resourcer is key in any recruitment team. The success of any recruitment team is usually driven by their ability to find excellent candidates for the vacancies they have. The task of the Resourcer is to take new vacancies and to source potential candidates from which the Recruitment Business Partner can create a further short list to submit to the hiring manager.

A Resourcer may use a number of tools to achieve this from the recruitment team's own database, to job boards, LinkedIn, Social Media and networking techniques.

Key responsibilities

Sourcing candidates via direct channels (namely LinkedIn, Social Media & Peoplefluent)

Advertising vacancies via the applicant tracking system (Peoplefluent)

Liaising with internal and external candidates throughout the recruitment process

Responsible for the daily update and maintenance of the vacancy list and management reporting

Provide full packs for interviews to include assessment material

Update of the Recruitment Offer Tracker and liaison with HR Services to raise letters

Recording and Tracking all KPI's and SLA's as per prevailing Contract Schedules

Answering speculative emails and letters from external candidates

Skills / Experience Required

Proven direct sourcing experience (either from an in-house or agency background)

Extremely organised with strong administration skills

Strong commercial awareness

IT Literate to include Intermediate Excel

Excellent Telephone manner

Self-motivated and have the ability to work under pressure

Team Player

Good planning and organisational skills

Friendly and approachable manner
