Resource Planner

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Resource Planner to join our team on a 12 month fixed term contract, with the potential to become a permanent appointment. The primary focus of the role is to create resource planning capability within our Business to Business directorate working with key internal and external stakeholders to understand requirements and recommend effective resource planning strategies. The successful candidate will provide planning, recommendations and implementation support to the Manager of Quality in embedding a new approach to resource optimisation while fully understanding the impacts of different approaches on our customers.

Based inLondon you will have the opportunity to create, manage and maintain an Excel based Resource Model that will identify task level resource requirements by operational units for up to 700 resources. You will also manage senior business stakeholder workshops and discussions to identify resource requirements, linking in skills and accountabilities of jobs within the organisation design, making recommendations for business improvement

The ideal candidate will have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel in order to develop complex models in addition to experience of operational resource modelling. You will also have strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret and explain complex information effectively to stakeholders at all levels. Working knowledge of resource management applications and statistical techniques would also be advantageous.
