As part of our commitment to providing services that enhance the lives of our residents we have a vacancy for a part time Resident Involvement Officer to join our Abingdon team on a 12 month fixed term contract.

The purpose of this role is to deliver activities which engage a wide range of residents in improving services, homes and neighbourhoods. The post holder will support the delivery of Sovereign's Resident Involvement Framework, focusing on delivering local events, improvement groups and e-groups as well as supporting the regional resident's panel.

Candidates should have a passion for and experience of resident involvement work, be responsive and flexible in approach and have an engaging style which gains buy in from teams and residents. Experience of working in or with the housing sector is desirable, while a strong customer service ethos and a collaborative approach are essential.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Community Investment team and contribute to service development, delivering real and lasting change to services right across the Oxfordshire region.

If you have proven ability in delivering a service which demonstrates a measurable return on investment this could be the challenge for you.

This is a part time post working 18.5 hours per week though some flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends will be required.

Please note that you will require a full driving licence and access to your own transport to meet the travel commitments of this role.
